* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.

- Slow moving showers and embedded thunderstorms with high
rainfall rates will be possible today. This may cause
localized flash flooding.

- At 549 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 3 inches of rain
have fallen.

creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A few isolated showers and storms are ongoing early this morning.
Additional storms are likely to form later today, especially
south of Interstate 40. Locations that have recently seen
flooding, or received several inches of rainfall, are at greatest
risk of additional flooding if they receive additional heavy
rainfall. Locations that have already seen flooding should take
any additional heavy rain seriously.
