A storm system moving across the region Tuesday morning may produce a brief period of snow and freezing rain across parts of southern New Jersey, central Delaware and the eastern shore of Maryland. While any accumulations will be very light, cold road temperatures may result in very slippery conditions within a short period after precipitation starts. Anyone with travel plans or intending to commute to work or school Tuesday morning should use extra caution and allow extra time. Temperatures should rise above freezing by midday Tuesday. |
