| Description: |
High winds combined with incoming arctic air will produce dangerously low wind chill values below zero. In addition, a powdery snow that fell across the area, especially for those in southeast Connecticut and the twin forks of Long Island, will experience reduced visibilities due to blowing snow. Motorists need to be alert for snow covered roadways and rapidly changing visibilities. Also, those venturing out need to dress in layers, including hat, face mask, and gloves. |
