* At 301 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Woonsocket,
or 18 miles south of Huron, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Forestburg around 310 PM CDT.

Dakota...

Big Sioux River near Brookings affecting Moody and Brookings
Counties.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Big Sioux River near Brookings.

* WHEN...Until early Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Significant amounts of pasture and farm
lands begin flooding on the left bank of the river. The road south
of the Brookings water treatment plant is flooded, as is 217th
Street between 468th and 469th Avenues.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 9.4 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:45 AM CDT Monday was 9.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early Wednesday morning and continue falling to 8.2 feet
Saturday morning.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
