Description: Dry conditions with relative humidity values between 20 and 30
percent will lead to near-critical fire weather conditions today.
Southwest winds of 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph are
forecast. Together, these conditions could lead to the rapid
spread of fires. Check burning restrictions and fire danger before
burning.

Headline: Special Weather Statement issued May 25 at 11:01AM CDT by NWS Grand Forks ND
Description: Relative humidity values will drop to around or below 25 percent
from southern Beltrami Count through Wadena county. SOuthwest
winds shifting to the west later in the afternoon and evening will
generally range from 10 to 15 mph, with periodic gusts around 20
mph. Near critical fire weather conditions are expected for the
afternoon and early evening hours. Any fire that does develop has
the potential to quickly spread.

Description: * WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues.

* WHERE...In Minnesota, St. Louis County.

* WHEN...Until 345 PM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Some low-water crossings may become impassable. River or stream
flows are elevated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 653 AM CDT Monday, gauge reports indicated rain and
snowmelt created elevated water levels and stream flows.
Minor flooding is already occurring in the advisory area.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Range Line Creek, Hustler River, Jeanette Creek, Shohola
Creek, Wolfpack Creek, Moose River, Legend Creek, Ge-be-on-e-
quet Creek, Heritage Creek, Oyster River, Nugget Creek and
Portage River.
Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Northwestern Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, Lake
Agnes, Lac la Croix, Lac La Croix, Loon Lake and Crooked
Lake.
